Our Rich Mar History

The Rich Mar story began as the true "American Dream" with the vision of Richard P. Morrissey, his wife, Dolores A. Morrissey, and his parents, Frieda and Vincent Morrissey. Together, they founded the company in 1955 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, opening their doors in the basement of a townhouse on Gordon Street. Growth was humble and modest at the start but soon would "GROW" to be larger than the family could have ever dreamed.

The '70s were a good time

The '70s were a good time for Rich Mar Florist: it expanded its services and locations. The family business grew, and the Morrissey family continued to serve their customers with the same core competences that they established years ago. They were proud to remain family owned and operated.

What started off in the basement of a townhouse in 1955 in Allentown, PA quickly turned into four generations of success for the Morrissey family. Our constantly expanding list of clients continues to grow in the Lehigh Valley, Bethlehem and Beyond! We are proud to remain family owned and operated all these years and continue to serve our customers with same core competences that we established years ago.
