Welcome to Port City Federal Credit Union, where our mission is to provide affordable financial services in a friendly and professional manner. We are a not-for-profit, member-owned financial cooperative that values our members as our most important asset. Our history dates back to June 1944, when we were first chartered as the Brunswick Employees Federal Credit Union by employees of the Brunswick-Balke-Collender Company. Our founders were pioneers in the credit union movement, dedicated to the concept of a cooperative not-for-profit financial institution that is owned and controlled by its members, with the goal of promoting thrift and providing credit to those who belong.

Over the years, we have grown and adapted to the changing needs of our community. In August 2007, we were granted a Community Charter, which allows us to serve all of Muskegon County. Today, our field of membership includes persons who live, work, worship, or attend school in Muskegon County, as well as businesses and other legal entities located within the county. We also welcome spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of this credit union, members of their immediate family or household, and organizations of such persons.
