Our Story

Founded in 2004 by Drs. Lisa and Stan Duchman, our winery was built on a quest to bring world-class winemaking to Central Texas. Our love of Italian grape varieties and the unique weather patterns of the Texas High Plains AVA inspired us to work with local growers to produce grapes that would allow our winemaker, Dave Reilly, to experiment with making wines like Vermentino, Sangiovese, and Dolcetto. Today, we remain committed to our goal of producing food-friendly fine wine using 100% Texas-grown fruit exclusively.

Our Services

At Duchman Family Winery & Kitchen, we offer a variety of services designed to enhance your wine country experience. From wine tastings and tours to private picnic experiences and event rentals, we have something for everyone. Our tasting room is open daily, where you can sample our current releases and purchase your favorite bottles. Our kitchen is open Thursday through Sunday, serving up delicious dishes to pair with your wine.
