Our History

Main Street Bicycle Co. has a rich history dating back to the 1920s, when a bike shop first opened its doors in downtown Zeeland. Over the years, the shop has changed hands several times, but the commitment to quality customer service and a hometown feel has remained constant. Current proprietor Aaron Schutter took the reins in 2019 and has continued the tradition of providing exceptional service and expertise to the community.

Our Team

The MSBC crew is a highly-experienced mix of ages and riders, from our youngest teen MTBer to a fairly old guy who does a lot of road riding, and everything in between. What they all have in common is a heart for customer service and a desire to get it right. Our mechanics have a combined 40 years of wrenching experience, including custom frame building.

Our Building

Our historic building has been a part of the Zeeland community for generations, with a rich history that dates back to the 1920s. From its early days as a shoe store and drug store to its current incarnation as a bike shop, our building has seen it all.
