At Vision thru Design, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional eye care to our patients. Our team of experts is dedicated to delivering top-notch services with a personal touch. Led by Dr. Angela Costa, our team consists of experienced optometrists, ophthalmic and optometric technicians, and a practice manager who work together to ensure that every patient receives the best possible care.

Our History

Founded by Dr. Costa in 2005, Vision thru Design has been committed to providing comprehensive eye care to the Kentucky community. With three locations, including Lexington, Mt. Sterling, and West Liberty, we strive to maintain the highest standards of quality and professionalism. Our team consists of dedicated professionals who are passionate about what they do.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of services to cater to your eye health needs. Some of our services include:

• Treatment for infections and foreign objects in the eyes

Our Doctors

Our team is led by Dr. Angela Costa, who has been practicing optometry since 2005. Dr. Costa is a highly respected expert in her field, with a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Kentucky and a Doctorate in Optometry from Nova Southeastern University. She has also received humanitarian awards and has participated in VOSH trips to Ecuador and the Dominican Republic.

We also welcome Dr. Wallace Guerrant to our team, a native of Lexington, Kentucky, who graduated from Transylvania University in 1987 with a double major in Biology and Philosophy, with honors. Dr. Guerrant spent four years at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, including an externship in ocular disease and glaucoma at the Huntington (WV) Veterans Affairs Hospital. He has been practicing optometry since 1991.

We also have Dr. Maria Kirkpatrick, who joined our team in 2019. Dr. Kirkpatrick graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Biology and a minor in Spanish, and later attended the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, where she completed a residency in Ocular Disease at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Huntington, WV.
