A Student-Centered Approach to Academic Success

At Crafting Scholars, we take a truly student-centered approach to academic support and test preparation. We understand that every student is unique, with their own strengths, weaknesses, and learning style. Therefore, we do not use a "one-size-fits-all" program for tutoring. Instead, we take the time to understand each student's individual needs and design a customized learning program to help them improve.

Our guiding mission is to inspire a passion for life-long learning, while growing healthy academic communities comprising free and sound thinkers. We believe that by empowering students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed, we can better contribute to our global community.

A Team Approach to Learning

At Crafting Scholars, we use a team approach to providing students with optimal help tailored to their unique needs and goals. We use a variety of diagnostic tests to understand how each student learns and processes information. Lessons are designed with their learning style in mind to enable them to more effectively engage with the material. We also partner with the student's teachers to align our curriculum builds with the content and skills they are learning.

Building a Strong Foundation

In addition to subject tutoring and test prep, we also focus on equipping students with effective study skills. We believe that a strong foundation is crucial for academic success. We show students different ways to approach material based on their learning style and strengths, and provide them with the tools they need to study effectively.

Unlocking Students' Potential

Whether working with students in-person or online, we provide personalized attention and support. We help students prepare for standardized tests, such as the SATs and ACTs, and build their confidence in their writing skills and understanding of core subjects. We work with students of all ages, from grade 6 to 12, and cater to students from public and private schools, as well as those who are homeschooled.

Our Experienced Team

The team at Crafting Scholars is composed of bachelor- and masters-level trained educators from a broad range of backgrounds. Our learning specialists hold degrees across all core subjects and have at least three to four years of education experience. They are passionate about equipping students with the skills they need to succeed.

Our Hiring Process

All of our learning specialists go through a rigorous interview, vetting, and training process. Just like our students, they too complete a comprehensive diagnostic test to identify their strengths and learning style. This allows us to better pair students with a learning specialist that complements their needs.
