Here at the Therapeutic Equestrian Center (TEC), we believe in the transformative power of horses to challenge people with disabilities to build stronger minds, bodies, and spirits. Since 2006, we have been dedicated to providing therapeutic riding programs and activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive growth for individuals of all ages and abilities.

We strive to provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where individuals can grow, learn, and thrive. Our goal is to empower individuals with disabilities to achieve their full potential, build confidence, and develop a sense of self-worth.

Our Programs and Services

At TEC, we offer a range of programs and services designed to meet the unique needs of individuals with disabilities. Our therapeutic riding program is led by certified instructors who work with participants to achieve specific goals and objectives. We also offer community programs, school programs, and summer riding sessions, as well as volunteer opportunities for those who want to get involved.

Our Facility

Our state-of-the-art facility, the Jane M. Hiler Facility, is located in Buchanan, Michigan, and is fully equipped to accommodate individuals with disabilities. Our facility features a large indoor arena, outdoor trails, and a variety of horses specifically trained for therapeutic riding.
