With over 14 years of experience in the industry, Tempranillo Restaurant has become a staple in the Aspen area, known for its exceptional cuisine, extensive wine list, and warm hospitality.
Our Story
Our chef and owner, Javier Gonzalez-Bringas, hails from Madrid, Spain, and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in Spanish cuisine. After moving to America in 1979, Javier combined his talents with inventive nouveau Italian cuisine, working at Manhattan's Mezzaluna Restaurant and later expanding to Aspen and Carbondale. Laura Maine, co-owner and partner, brings her extensive experience as the owner of her own restaurant, River Valley Ranch Golf Course. Together, they joined forces to create Tempranillo Restaurant in 2006, with a focus on providing an exceptional dining experience that showcases the best of Spanish and Italian cuisine.
