Our Story

It all started with two inventive people who crossed paths and sketched out a way to do it better, not bigger. Spitball was born out of a genuine love for what we do and who we do it with. Our ethos is built on three core principles: Pride, Creativity, and Collaboration. We believe that creativity is the core of everything we do, from branding to advertising to digital. We believe in being David rather than Goliath, which makes us more scrappy and unconventional in developing ideas. We believe in wearing many hats, bringing our various professional and personal talents, skills, and passions to solve any task at hand.

Our People

Our team is comprised of passionate, talented individuals who are dedicated to their craft. From Steve Bailey, our Co-Founder, Partner, Creative, Craftsman, and Cake Decorator, to Anthony Torre, our Co-Founder, Partner, Account, Foodie, and Cruise Director, we have a diverse group of individuals who bring their unique perspectives and skills to the table. We also have Kristin Reiser, our Account Director, who ensures that working with Spitball is like a personalized, branded experience. Sam Underwood, our Strategy Director, attacks every line of business with smart brand and media strategy. Nick Velardi, our Art Director, is a master of storytelling through art. And Ben Ruch, our Senior Digital Designer, has a casual, toes-in-the-sand demeanor but never lays up when pushing our client's digital design forward.
