Founded in 1983, Progressive Coating was born out of a desire to provide high-quality coating solutions to local metal manufacturing companies in the Chicago area. Our Processes

• Fluidized Bed Powder Coating: A process that employs a tank with a porous bottom plate, which supplies low-pressure air uniformly across the plate. The rising air surrounds and suspends finely divided powder particles, creating a fluidized powder that can be applied to various parts.

• Nylon Coating: A highly durable coating that provides excellent abrasion resistance, electrical insulation, and corrosion protection. Nylon is ideal for a wide range of applications, from small to mid-size parts, in high-volume quantities.

• Epoxy Coating: A thermosetting coating that provides excellent electrical insulation, uniform coverage, and superior chemical and corrosion resistance. Epoxy is VOC-free and can be applied to a variety of metals, including copper, aluminum, and other materials.

• PVC & Polyethylene Coating: A cost-effective option that offers excellent adhesion, a high degree of edge coverage, and a uniform finish. Fluidized bed powder coated PVC and Polyethylene provide excellent insulation, corrosion resistance, and impact resistance.
