Welcome to LUCCA, a family-owned and operated business that brings the authentic Italian pizza experience to you. Our story began on a honeymoon trip to Italy, where we fell in love with the thin, crackly pizza served in a small piazza. We were inspired to recreate that moment and share it with our community in Santa Barbara and the surrounding areas.
At LUCCA, we pride ourselves on our impeccable service, using only the freshest local ingredients to create gluten-free, vegetarian, and dairy-free options. Our Wood Fired Pizza starts with our signature dough recipe, which delivers a fluffy inside and a light crisp outside. We source our flour blends from Spain and Italy, and our oven burns local oak, reaching just over 700 degrees. With the temperature so high, pizzas take just under 2 minutes to cook, ensuring that every bite is hot and delicious.
Our 1947 Dodge truck is a masterpiece, originally used as the Detroit fire department's parade truck. It has been restored to its former glory and is a classic that brings lots of memories to the western communities. We are grateful to be a part of the Santa Barbara community and are committed to supporting local farms and businesses.
Our Services
At LUCCA, we offer a range of services that cater to all types of events, from intimate elopements to events of 600+ guests. Our Wood Fired Pizza is a dinner and a show, with authentic Italian pizza and a top-notch staff that aims to leave our clients and their guests full and happy.
We offer a Pre-set menu that includes several pizza selections and 1-2 salads for your event. Appetizers and Dolce are available al la carte, and buffet tables are included in the package. If needed, a Charcuterie table is available for a $50.00 rental fee. Buffet service is $48pp, and the final guest count is required 60 days prior to the event, with no reductions allowed.
Our Truck measures 22 feet long and 8'6'' wide, with a height of about 10 feet. If parking on grass, we require additional fees. We arrive 2 hours prior to the event to set up and 1 hour for take down/clean-up, which is not part of your allocated time. Any additional hours of provided service will be subject to $5 per person in attendance of the event, per hour.
