Comforts of Home Massage was founded in 2014 by David Melvin, a licensed massage therapist with over two decades of experience in the field. My journey began in 1999 when I graduated from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy while working as an analytical chemist. After relocating to Wayland, Massachusetts, in 2009, I pursued additional education at the Cortiva Institute, completing 155 hours of advanced training to obtain my Massachusetts license. My practice initially focused on in-home services before establishing a dedicated studio nestled in the northern woods of Wayland. The studio features a private entrance, accessible parking, and a serene environment designed to prioritize client comfort. I specialize in customized bodywork for acute injuries, chronic conditions, stress relief, and wellness optimization, serving a diverse clientele including athletes, professionals, and seniors.
