USA Kempo Academy

Welcome to USA Kempo Academy, where we provide quality instruction in Kempo karate, a close contact form of self-defense derived from Shaolin Kung Fu. Our mission is to not only teach self-defense techniques but also to foster spiritual growth, character building, and a sense of community. We believe that the practice of Kempo karate can benefit individuals of all ages, starting from as young as 4 years old to those in their 70s. Our classes are designed to promote focus, balance, confidence building, and physical fitness in a safe and controlled environment.

Our Goal

Our primary goal is to provide our students with confidence while teaching respect. We create a learning environment that allows students of all ages to hone their skills, whether in children's classes, adult classes, family classes, or private lessons. We are committed to helping our students grow and develop as individuals, and we take pride in the positive impact we have on our community.

The Three Rules

An integral part of our curriculum is the teaching of The Three Rules. These rules are recited by our students at the beginning of each class to serve as a reminder to apply these principles not just in the dojo but in everyday life as well. The rules are:

• Respect: Treat others the way you want to be treated.
• Self-Control: Always control your behavior.
• Self-Discipline: Always do the right thing, no matter what, without being told.

Services We Offer

At USA Kempo Academy, we offer a range of services designed to meet the needs of all our students. These include self-defense classes for kids, adults, women, and men, birthday parties, demonstrations, private lessons, and group activities.
