Professional Staff

Our team of experienced and licensed therapists is led by Vickie Hawkins-Black, LCSW, who has over 20 years of experience as a child and family therapist. Vickie is a graduate of Norfolk State University and specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She is a certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist, trained in Structural Family Therapy, and is an approved Parent Education Seminar Provider for the local court jurisdictions.

Danielle Brown, LCSW, is another experienced therapist on our team. With over 10 years of experience, Danielle has worked with families, providing a broad spectrum of case management and mental health services. Danielle's approach focuses on forming a trusting relationship to understand and explore how life experiences shape the present, helping clients find solutions to problems and develop the personal resources needed to live the life they want.
