Our Story

"There is only one thing worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about." Although you may know Stephen's Green as the largest Georgian park in the heart of Dublin City, now you can get a little piece of Ireland in the heart of Tuckahoe. Here at Stephen's Green Bar & Restaurant, we aim to provide an authentic Irish experience through our decor, our menu, and our warm and inviting atmosphere.

We are located in Tuckahoe, NY, just 20 miles outside of Manhattan and just across the street from the Crestwood train station of the Metro North Railroad. Whether you're a local looking for a taste of Ireland, or a visitor passing through, we are easily accessible and eager to welcome you.

"What butter and whiskey won't cure, there is no cure for." For beer lovers, we offer a variety of seasonal and craft beers with 16 beers on tap and numerous other bottled options. And for the true Irishman, there's a large selection of whiskey, along with a full bar including top shelf liquor. "May you always have a clean shirt, a clear conscience, and enough coins in your pocket to buy a pint!"

Our Menu

Our restaurant includes a full service kitchen with both inside and outside dining, allowing for guests to enjoy the spring and summer weather under our shaded outdoor patio and dining area. While our menu is kept simple, our meat and produce are always fresh, and we only use high-quality ingredients. Trying our menu is a must on your night out!

Our signature dish, shepherd's pie, is a beloved Irish classic, made with hearty ground beef or lamb, mixed with gravy and vegetables, topped with mashed potatoes, and baked to golden brown perfection. Our assortment of soups, salads, and starters offer something for every taste, from the classic Irish onion soup to the fresh and flavorful Caprese salad.

We also offer a selection of sandwiches and burgers, as well as entrees such as Guinness braised short ribs, baked salmon, and more. And don't forget to order our fresh homemade Irish soda bread! Please call 24 hours in advance to place an order.

Come to Stephen's Green any day of the week to enjoy friends and food, happy hour, holiday parties, and our weekend brunch. Our happy hour offers specials on drinks and appetizers, and is the perfect way to relax after work or start off your night.

We also host a variety of events, such as our annual Halloween party and contest, birthdays, and other celebrations. Our spacious restaurant and bar are the perfect location for your special event.
