Grove Printing Corporation, a trusted name in the printing industry since 1935, has been providing high-quality printing services to the Baltimore-Washington, DC metropolitan area for over eight decades. Established by William W. Grove as a letterpress shop on Wisconsin Avenue in Washington DC, the company has grown and evolved over the years, always staying ahead of the curve in terms of technology and innovation.
Under the leadership of Doris C. Braswell, who became president in 1973, Grove Printing expanded its capabilities with the purchase of offset printing presses and modernized its operations. The company flourished under her leadership, becoming known for its high-quality wedding invitations, Christmas cards, and other social and commercial printing.
In 1999, the company acquired larger and more sophisticated equipment, including a full-color offset press, which allowed it to better serve its growing customer base and commercial printing business. In 2001, Doris retired, leaving the business in a strong position for further growth under the leadership of her son, Steven L. Braswell.
In 2021, Steve retired and sold Grove Printing to Creative Print Group. Today, Grove Printing continues to operate from its location in Arbutus, Baltimore, with a strong commitment to excellence and a dedication to providing its customers with the highest level of service and quality.
