Building lasting relationships, one sign at a time.

At Aikido Association Atlanta, we are passionate about sharing the martial art of Aikido, a discipline that emphasizes harmony, balance, and self-improvement through physical movement. Our dojo is dedicated to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals of all ages and skill levels to learn and grow together. Our mission is to empower our students with the tools and confidence to succeed in life, both physically and mentally.

Our Team

As a charter member of the Aikido World Alliance, we are proud to offer instruction by a certified teaching staff of over 20 black belts. Our instructors are not only knowledgeable in Aikido principles, but are also passionate about sharing their expertise with others. Our lead instructors, Michael Goodman and Luke Maranto, bring a wealth of experience and dedication to their craft.

What We Offer

Our Aikido classes are designed to challenge and engage students of all ages and skill levels. We offer a variety of classes throughout the week, including morning and evening sessions. Our experienced instructors provide individualized attention and guidance to ensure that each student reaches their full potential. Our training focuses on developing effective self-defense techniques, improving flexibility and strength, and cultivating mental focus and discipline.

Iaido: The Japanese Art of Swordsmanship

Iaido is a traditional Japanese martial art that focuses on the art of drawing and cutting with the sword. Our Iaido classes are designed to teach students the principles of Mugai Ryu, a style of Japanese swordsmanship that emphasizes discipline, focus, and self-awareness. Our instructors provide guidance on proper technique, stance, and movement, while emphasizing the importance of mental and physical discipline in achieving mastery of the art.
