At Nova Psychotherapy, we are dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming space for individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings, and emotions. Our team of experienced therapists is committed to helping clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves and improve their mental health. We believe that every individual is unique, and our therapy services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
Therapy Services
At Nova Psychotherapy, we offer individual therapy sessions to adults aged 18 and above. Our therapy sessions are 50 minutes long and typically occur on a weekly basis. We offer both in-person sessions at our Back Bay office and telehealth sessions.
We work with a diverse range of clients, from college students to young professionals, and individuals navigating life transitions. Our therapists are experienced in working with clients with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, relational issues, family conflicts, and trauma, among other areas.
Insurance and Fees
We accept all Blue Cross Blue Shield and Aetna plans, as well as out-of-network benefits. We also offer private pay options for those who do not have insurance or prefer to pay out-of-pocket.

Fabiana Casanova
Fabiana Casanova is the founder of Nova Psychotherapy. She has a bilingual background in English and Spanish and provides therapy in both languages. Fabiana's specialty areas include anxiety disorders, mood disorders, relational issues, family conflict, and multicultural issues. She has extensive experience working with college students and young professionals.
Breanne Schatzman
Breanne Schatzman is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who uses a trauma-informed intersectional feminist approach to center therapeutic work in healing one's relation to oneself and the world. Her specialty areas include attachment & trust, depression, self-acceptance, adult children of alcoholics, relational issues, and trauma.
Susan Chamandy
Susan Chamandy is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who primarily uses a psychodynamic approach in her counseling work. Her priority is to create a welcoming, non-judgmental space where clients can express their concerns and feel safe enough to explore themselves deeply. Susan's specialty areas include depression and grief, anxiety and panic, trauma, substance abuse issues, family conflict, relationship issues, and life transition issues.
Jennifer Yerks
Jennifer Yerks is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Board Certified Dance/Movement Therapist. She uses an integrative approach to therapy that is person-centered and collaborative. Her specialty areas include depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, life transition issues, grief, trauma, and seeking change.
Audrianna Robinson
Audrianna Robinson is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who uses an integrative approach that combines psychodynamic and person-centered theories to assist clients in their journey. Her specialty areas include depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, life transition issues, trauma, and seeking change.
