Nestled in the charming rural setting of Geauga County, Ohio, Legend Lake Golf Club offers golfers an exceptional experience on our Par 72 championship golf course. Our dedicated team, led by the club superintendent Jim Welling and his diligent staff, work tirelessly to ensure the course remains at a championship level.

Our golf club was born out of a simple idea - to give golf enthusiasts the opportunity to enjoy the game they love, without the 5-hour rounds and at a reasonable price. The Course

Designed in 1968 by Reece Alexander, Legend Lake Golf Club is a beautiful 200-acre course that was once a dairy farm. Reece skillfully blended the natural terrain and water features - namely, Legend Lake and Legend Creek - into a formidable challenge for golfers of all skill levels. Over 40 years, the more than 4,000 trees planted have grown into a significant defense for this true shot-makers course, offering speedy and subtle greens ready to reward those who bring their "A" game.

Dress Code

We kindly ask that all golfers adhere to our dress code policy, designed to maintain the course's reputation and respect the traditions of the sport.

• Golf Course: Tank-type shirts, sweatpants, silk-screened t-shirts, cargo-style shorts/slacks with tattered external pockets, jeans, and caps or visors worn backward are not permitted. All shirts must be tucked in unless designed to be worn outside of clothing. Shoes must always be worn, with golf shoes containing metal spikes being prohibited on the course and practice areas. If there are any questions or concerns, please inquire at the Pro Shop during operating hours (440-285-3110).
