Northern Ohio Pro Golfers Association

The Northern Ohio PGA Section is a professional organization dedicated to promoting and growing the game of golf in Northern Ohio. Our section is comprised of over 800 PGA Professionals who are committed to providing exceptional golf instruction, tournaments, and community outreach programs. We are proud to offer a variety of services designed to benefit both our members and the golfing community at large.

Services Offered

One of the key services we offer is golf instruction. Our PGA Professionals provide private lessons, group clinics, and junior golf programs to help golfers of all skill levels improve their game. Additionally, we host numerous tournaments throughout the year, including the prestigious Ohio Open Championship, which attracts top golfers from across the country. Our tournaments not only provide a competitive platform for golfers but also raise funds for various charitable initiatives.

Growing the Game

The Northern Ohio PGA Section is deeply committed to growing the game of golf. We believe that golf has the power to bring people together and provide a platform for personal growth and development. To this end, we have established various programs such as the Pirates Play Golf Program, which aims to introduce the game to underprivileged children. We also offer scholarships and fellowships to support aspiring golf professionals and provide resources for golf courses to host junior golf events.

Community Outreach

Community outreach is another vital aspect of our mission. We partner with local organizations to host charity events, support local golf courses, and promote golf as a tool for social change. Our Birdie Club, for example, rewards golfers for their charitable donations, and our Clubs Fore Kids program provides financial support to golf courses that host junior golf events.
