Dr. Smash, a native of Jackson, Mississippi, graduated with honors in Mathematics/Computer Science from Tougaloo College. She pursued a Master's Degree in Software Engineering at the University of Mississippi before deciding to follow her passion for medicine. Dr. Smash earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan, and completed her residency at the Wayne State University/Crittenton Family Medicine Residency Program, where she served as the Chief Administrative Resident. She returned to Mississippi in 2010 to serve her community.
