Mt Pisgah Preschool

Mt. Pisgah Preschool is a faith-based educational program that has been serving the community of Midlothian, VA since 1979. We are proud to be a part of Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church, and we strive to create a nurturing and supportive environment for children to grow and develop. Our goal is to help preschoolers become enthusiastic learners who are independent, self-confident, and ready to progress at their own pace.

Our Philosophy

At Mt. Pisgah Preschool, we believe that every child is a unique individual with their own special gifts and talents. We are committed to providing a Christian atmosphere that promotes growth and development in all areas - spiritual, social, emotional, and cognitive. Our program is designed to help each child take the natural step from home to elementary school, with a balance of guided play activities, creative art work, music and language experiences, group times, and outdoor play.

Our program does not teach doctrine or denominational beliefs. Instead, we focus on teaching the love of God and the goodness of all He creates through active learning experiences. We believe that every child is a precious gift from God, and we seek to care for and nurture each child as if they were our own.

Our Program

Mt. Pisgah Preschool offers a half-day program for children aged 2 1/2 to 5 years old. Our school year runs from the week of Labor Day to mid-May, and we offer the following program options for the 2024-2025 school year:

• 2 Day Program: $230 per month (Tuesday & Thursday)

+ 2 1/2 year olds

+ 3 year olds

• 3 Day Program: $285 per month (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)

+ 3 year olds

• 4 Day Pre-Kindergarten Program: $350 per month (Monday-Thursday)
• 5 Day Pre-Kindergarten Program: $380 per month (Monday-Friday)

All of our programs include a one-time activity & supply fee of $100, which covers special activities in our program and consumable supplies used throughout the year. Weekly Chapel lessons and music class are also included in your child's curriculum.

Registration

Registration for the 2024-2025 school year will begin in early 2024. A $125 non-refundable registration fee is required to guarantee placement. The maximum registration fee for families is $175.
