Friendly Care Day School

At Friendly Care Day School, our mission is to teach kids to love God with their minds, bodies, and spirits. We focus on three main areas: Mind, Body, and Spirit. Our curriculum-based program includes both structured and free play activities designed to engage children in learning and development.

With our minds, we emphasize learning through various activities such as FUNdations, alphabet recognition, and STEM education. Our minds are engaged through times of Discovery, Explore, and Play. Recreation is also an essential part of our daily schedule, whether outdoors on the playground or indoors with games and organized play. This helps us engage our bodies and promotes physical development through activities like Stretch N' Grow and Tuesday Movement.

In addition to physical and mental development, we place great importance on spiritual growth. Every morning, we start our day with Bible songs, a lesson, an activity, and prayer. This helps us nurture a love for Jesus and follow Him. We believe all we need to know is in God's Word and strive to create a love for Jesus in each of our children's hearts.

Our programs include a variety of activities such as Bible studies, memorization of Bible verses, and prayer. We also have a reading resource program for Pre-kinder students who need extra help with letter sounds, recognition, and formation skills. This collaborative program involves parents, teachers, and the administration to ensure individualized support.

Other special programs include Music, which helps develop skills like rhyming, rhythm, and discipline, and Story Time, which stimulates critical thinking skills and early literacy. We also offer STEAM education, exposing students to creative processes, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Additionally, we incorporate Sign Language to stimulate language development and memory recall, and Movement time to develop sportmanship and gross motor skills.

Our goal is to provide a nurturing environment that fosters growth in all aspects of a child's life. We believe that every child is unique and deserves a personalized approach to learning and development.
