Our Story
Roux 30a was born out of the idea that breaking bread with family is one of the most intimate things you can do. Since 2013, we have been proud to call the Emerald Coast our home. Using locally sourced ingredients of the highest quality, we create beautifully curated dinners that are inspired by our coastal roots and presented with a modern twist. Our restaurant is designed to make you feel like family from the moment you enter our intimate space until the time you leave.
The Venue
Roux 30a boasts 1,200 square feet of event space that can accommodate up to 44 guests for an intimate dining experience. Our venue features a state-of-the-art kitchen, custom-designed decor, and exquisitely distressed-wood farm tables. Our outdoor space can be tented, making it the perfect setting for dinner parties, bridal showers, craft beer pairings, wine tastings, and more.
Our Chef
Chef Nikhil Abuvala, the owner of Roux 30a and Nanbu Noodle Bar, is a culinary artist who has been honing his craft since the age of 13. With nearly 20 years of experience, Chef Nikhil is known for his ability to dive into a wide spectrum of cuisines and present them flawlessly. His love for cooking was sparked by his grandmother, who taught him the art of cooking and the importance of using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. At Roux 30a, Chef Nikhil presents an original perspective on dining where coastal meets modern, creating a dining experience that is both delicious and unforgettable.
Our Menu
Roux 30a offers a 6-course tasting menu that features a circulating selection of produce, proteins, and products that we receive from our farm partners. Our menu is designed to showcase the freshest, locally sourced ingredients and is presented with a modern twist. We also offer a limited selection of snacks and a 3-course tasting menu between 5pm-6pm every day. Our Snack Hour menu is based on our freshest, farm-to-table ingredients delivered by local farms and co-ops daily and is available Tuesday - Sunday between 5pm-6pm.
