Welcome to Atlanta Adventist Academy, a private high school that is dedicated to providing a high-quality, Christ-centered educational experience. Our institution is deeply rooted in the values of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and we strive to build connections in six distinct areas as we prepare students to become lifelong learners.

Atlanta Adventist Academy is more than just a school; it is a community that fosters spiritual growth, physical well-being, social responsibility, and academic excellence. We are proud to be recognized as one of the most diverse private high schools in Gwinnett County, as well as one of the top college prep schools and best Christian high schools in the area.

Our mission is to honor God by preparing young people for a life of excellence and service in this world and in the world to come. We aim to be the high school of choice for young people of all backgrounds who desire a Christ-centered, academically challenging educational experience.

Education That Connects

The flame in the center of our logo represents the guidance of the Holy Spirit, which underpins everything we do at Atlanta Adventist Academy. Each circle in our logo represents one of the six areas we focus on building connections in:

  • Spiritual Growth: We host two campus-wide spiritual retreats each year, hold weekly chapels, bi-annual weeks of prayer, and have a vibrant campus ministries program. Our students are encouraged to develop a strong relationship with God, and we provide many opportunities for them to grow and deepen their faith.
  • Academic Excellence: Our college prep program produces students who consistently score above the national average on standardized tests and are accepted into top colleges at a high rate. We offer college and dual-credit courses, a AAA scholars program, and a low student/teacher ratio. Our faculty are highly qualified and fully certified, and we are accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
  • Service: Our students complete 20 hours of community service each year, significantly impacting the community around us! We maintain several regular service programs such as PFE, FREE, Academic Peer Coaching, and mission trips.
  • Technology: We have a 1-to-1 iPad program as well as MacBook Pros for our technology classes. All of our classes are connected to campuses throughout the Southeast via real-time telepresence connections, and our classes are all recorded for later review.
  • Physical Well-Being: We offer a variety of physical education classes, athletic programs, and extracurricular activities that promote a healthy lifestyle.
  • Social Responsibility: We encourage our students to be responsible citizens who are committed to making a positive impact on the world.
