Our Heritage

Gerry Goldberg, our founder, has a deep passion for investing, which dates back to his early childhood. His first stock investment at the age of 12 sparked a lifelong interest in the world of finance. As he grew older, he pursued his passion at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he witnessed the first of three "tech bubbles" of the 20th century. These experiences shaped his value-oriented and contrarian mindset.

Midwest Roots

Growing up in the Midwest, Gerry's approach to investing was influenced by the values of hard work, practicality, and resourcefulness. His experience at the firm Scudder, Stevens & Clark, taught him the importance of identifying companies with intrinsic value, often overlooked by the market. This unique perspective allows us to identify undervalued companies, offering a competitive edge in the market.
