Over the years, our product portfolio has evolved to include specialties such as neurosurgical, cardiothoracic, and minimally invasive/laparoscopic surgery. Our distribution footprint has also expanded to encompass a regional and national presence.

Our Team

Our team is comprised of experienced professionals who are dedicated to the success of our customers. Phil Heard, our Founder and President, has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, including pharmaceutical sales with Roche Labs and Wyeth Labs, as well as six years with SSI, Inc. before starting Advanced Med-Surg Concepts in April of 1997.

Nelson Heard, our Vice President of Sales and Marketing, oversees the development of new sales and maintenance of existing accounts with uncompromised customer service. He has been a member of the AMSC team since January 2010 and is dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers.

Our Products

We are a proud supplier of quality products from esteemed companies such as Quest Medical, Inc., JoseNoe Medical, Orange Surgical, Endoplus, LTA Medical, and Ready. Our product portfolio includes cardiothoracic, minimally invasive and general, neurosurgical, and surgical headlights.

The HeartNet, for instance, is a positioning device used to support the heart during open heart surgery, allowing for optimal stabilization and visualization of the posterior side of the heart, including the circumflex artery system. Its soft and pliable construction gently conforms to the heart and prevents coronary vessel constriction.
