Pathways Counseling & Growth

Pathways Counseling & Growth Center is a non-profit, interdenominational organization dedicated to providing body, mind, and spirit-centered psychological counseling services to individuals, couples, and families. Our mission is to empower individuals to reach their full potential by offering a range of services that address the unique needs of each client.

Our Services

Our multidisciplinary trained staff provides opportunities for individual, couple, and family group counseling, education, and consultation. We work in collaboration with other community services to provide a holistic approach to mental health care. Our services are designed to treat people with mental illness from a holistic perspective, addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of each client.

We offer a range of services, including EMDR therapy, which is a psychotherapy that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences. Our Certified EMDR Therapist, Brittney Lindway, is dedicated to helping clients overcome anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and other conditions.

Our Team

Our team of licensed counselors is dedicated to providing compassionate and professional care to each client. We have a volunteer board of directors that provides governance of the agency, and our staff is committed to helping clients achieve their goals and overcome challenges.

Our History

Pathways Counseling & Growth Center was founded in 1981 under the name of The Samaritan Counseling Center. Since then, we have grown to become a certified mental health agency with the Ohio Department of Mental Health and an accredited treatment center by CARF. We are proud to have donated numerous hours of free counseling to the public and have provided an average of 5,000 counseling hours per year.

Our Commitment

We are committed to providing accessible and affordable mental health services to individuals, couples, and families. We offer a sliding fee scale for clients with low to moderate income or who are underinsured or uninsured. We believe that everyone deserves access to quality mental health care, and we are dedicated to making a difference in people's lives.
