Our Story

Loft.84 was born out of a passion to restore a historic landmark to its former glory. Originally built in 1928 as the Aurea Vista Hotel, our venue has a rich history that spans over nine decades. From its humble beginnings as a hotel and furniture store to its stint as an anti-aircraft intelligence headquarters during World War II, our building has seen it all. In 2014, Shelby Worthington and Cindy Alden embarked on a journey to restore the building to its former glory, and Loft.84 was born.
