La Villa Bella

La Villa Bella at Historic San Antonio is a premier event location in Upland, California. Our History

The Historical San Antonio Hospital was founded by Frances Mary Paul in 1907, after relocating to Southern California from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She recognized the need for healthcare in the area and brought vital services to Upland, which was incorporated as a city in 1906. The hospital provided much-needed service to the community, and in 1923, a new hospital was built, leaving this beautiful historical site for future generations to enjoy.
