Welch School Of Piano

We are dedicated to inspiring a lifelong love of learning music and sharing our passion for piano and voice lessons with students of all ages. As a renowned music teacher, I, Amanda Welch, have been teaching piano for over a decade and have founded two studios - one in Nashville, Tennessee, and another in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.

Philosophy

As a teacher, I believe that music is essential to being human and that learning music creates creative minds. I also believe that children learn best through play. My approach is unique in that I believe that music lessons teach more than just notes; I believe they teach life lessons. I create a fun and engaging environment where students can discover their passion for music and develop their skills through creative play.

Lessons

We offer three types of lessons: Pre-School Piano, Foundation Piano, and Expression Piano. Our Pre-School Piano classes are designed for young children aged 3-4, focusing on developing creative skills, enhancing reading readiness, improving math, computer, and language skills, and preparing students for private piano instruction.

Our Foundation Piano lessons cater to students aged 5-12, providing technical skills, theoretical aspects, and a discipline in practice. Each student's needs and interests are carefully considered when planning lessons, and music is chosen accordingly. Students are given short and long-term goals with various rewards to help them succeed.

Our Expression Piano lessons, designed for students aged 13-17, focus on developing personal expression and creativity. We explore music history and classical composers, demonstrating that every piece of music has a story, and offering students the opportunity to connect with that story.

Beginner Voice

In addition to piano lessons, we offer voice lessons for students of all ages. Our approach is centered around developing a natural voice supported by breath, with an emphasis on musical exploration and fun!

Tuition Fees

Our tuition fees are a flat monthly rate, with payment options available for your convenience. Payments are due at or before the first lesson of every month, and late payments will incur a 10% late fee.
