Our mission is to nurture and promote contemporary performing arts, serving as a vital resource for artists and audiences alike. We are a non-profit performing arts and film center dedicated to fostering artistic growth, engaging audiences, and fostering a vibrant community.

Supporting Artists at Every Stage

Our state-of-the-art facility provides a platform for artists at all stages of their careers. We offer production residencies, technical support, and resources to help artists refine and showcase their work. Through our rigorous residency program, we have nurtured the talents of over 70 leading American performing arts companies since our inception in 2011.

Empowering the Community

Beyond artistic development, we are deeply committed to empowering our local community through targeted social programs. A significant portion of our rental income is reinvested back into the region through initiatives such as:

• LUMBERYARD Young Performers: Providing free dance education to under-resourced youth.
• Fresh Start: An intervention program offering incarcerated teens a path to a better future.
• Junior Crew: Equipping local teenagers with valuable job skills and workforce development training.
