Our Story

At ENSO, we're a neighborhood urban winery, wine bar, and event space, dedicated to creating unique and memorable experiences for our customers. Our journey began in a garage, where we honed our skills and refined our craft. As we grew, we moved into a larger "garage" in the Buckman neighborhood, where we could expand our operations and share our passion for wine with the community.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is simple: to create authentic, old-world style wines that express the moment they were crafted and the moment they're enjoyed. We believe in keeping things small-scale, efficient, and manageable, allowing us to experiment, care for each batch separately, and create complexity in our small space. We source our grapes from the finest vineyards up and down the west coast, working with three states - Washington, California, and Oregon - to create a portfolio of unique and exciting wines.

Our Wines

We offer a range of wines, from refreshing white wines and dry roses to full-bodied reds. Our wines are hand-crafted using traditional techniques and a deep understanding of the art of winemaking. We're proud to showcase our unique Northwest wines, including our fan-favorite Mourvedre and Cabernet Franc. If wine isn't your thing, we also offer a selection of Northwest beers and ciders.

Our Event Space

Our versatile event space is perfect for hosting weddings, receptions, birthday parties, and corporate events. We believe that events should be memorable, relaxed, and enjoyable, and we're here to help you make it happen. With our experienced team and comprehensive event planning services, we'll work with you to create a customized plan that fits your needs and budget.

Our Tasting Lounge

Our Tasting Lounge is the perfect place to relax and unwind with friends or colleagues. Take a seat at our wine bar, indulge in a glass of wine or beer, and enjoy a selection of wine-friendly snacks. We're proud to offer a rotating tap of Portland-made wines and local beers, and our knowledgeable staff are always happy to help you choose the perfect pour.

Meet Our Winemaker

Our winemaker, Ryan Sharp, is a passionate winemaker with a deep understanding of the art of winemaking. With a background in both traditional and modern winemaking techniques, Ryan is dedicated to creating high-quality, expressive wines that showcase the best of the Northwest.

Our Vineyards

We work with a select group of esteemed vineyards to source the finest grapes for our wines. Our vineyards include Alder Ridge Vineyard in Washington State, Wheatland Vineyard in Oregon's Willamette Valley, and other top-notch vineyards from around the region.
