Our History

Burtch Construction has been serving Kern County since 1968, and over the years, we have evolved to meet the changing needs of our clients and the community. Today, we are engaged primarily in the business of fine grading, paving, and oil spreading, but we also offer a range of other services including concrete, rough grading, and underground work. We serve not only the local area but also cover a radius of approximately 150 miles from Bakersfield.

Our Services

Our services range from initial site design and soil investigation to final grading and soil stabilization. We also offer a variety of specialized services, including:

• Paving: Whether it's a new pave or resurfacing an existing one, we use the latest construction techniques to ensure a high level of efficiency with low environmental impacts.
• Grading: Our provided services range from initial site design and soil investigation to final grading and soil stabilization. We use the latest construction techniques to ensure a high level of efficiency with low environmental impacts.
• Oil Spreading: We maintain a complete fleet of BearCat Computer-Controlled Distributor Trucks and Bulk Transport Trucks to meet our customers' needs.
• Seal Coating: Seal coating is the process of applying a liquid coal tar emulsion over existing pavement to protect it from moisture, ultraviolet oxidation, and other environmental damages.
• Striping: Striping is the "finishing touch" on a freshly paved, seal coated, saw-cut, or patched parking lot. We provide professional striping with attention to the smallest detail.
