At Legacy Driving Academy, we're passionate about building a legacy of safe drivers in the Phoenix community. As a locally owned and family-operated business, we've been dedicated to providing high-quality driver education programs for over two decades. Our expert instructors, all fully licensed by the State of Arizona, pride themselves on providing patient, supportive, and professional instruction to students of all ages and skill levels.
Our Services
At Legacy Driving Academy, we offer a range of flexible and affordable driver education programs, designed to fit your unique needs. Our programs include:
Legacy Basic: A 2.5 hour program for more experienced drivers looking to fine-tune their skills and prepare for the road test at the MVD. Includes free pickup and drop-off at any location in metropolitan Phoenix.
Legacy Special: A 5-hour program consisting of two 2.5-hour lessons, designed to help students prepare for the road test at the MVD. Upon completion, students receive an insurance certificate for possible savings on auto insurance. Includes free pickup and drop-off for each lesson.
Legacy Premier: Our comprehensive 10-hour program includes four 2.5-hour lessons, featuring a final road skills evaluation and certification. This program may waive the road test at the MVD, and students receive an insurance certificate upon completion for possible savings on auto insurance. Includes free pickup and drop-off for each lesson.
Meet Our Team
At Legacy Driving Academy, we're proud to have an experienced and knowledgeable team of instructors who are dedicated to helping our students achieve their driving goals. Meet some of our talented instructors:
- Cole Greer, Owner and Lead Instructor, has a legacy of driving in his family, with his grandfather having instructed Tank driving in the Army National Guard and his father being a semi-truck driver for nearly 50 years.
- Steve Kinkade, Safety Director, is a retired fire chief with 42 years of safe driving experience and knows the importance of quality instruction and a safe learning environment.
- Josue Vasquez, an Arizona native, graduated from high school and then earned an associate's degree in criminal justice and a certificate in law enforcement. He's passionate about teaching safe driving habits and building a legacy of safe drivers at Legacy Driving Academy.
- Gerald Cullison II has been teaching driver's education and behind-the-wheel training since 2000. He started in San Diego, California, and is now part of the Legacy Driving Academy team.
- Jon Lindell is an Arizona native who joined the Legacy team as a part-time instructor after teaching his teenage daughter to drive. He takes great satisfaction in helping drivers learn safe driving habits and build their confidence on the road.
