Our Story

As a mother, physical therapist, athletic trainer, and student of life, Dr. Arienne Wrigley Ashby has dedicated her career to helping individuals achieve optimal health and wellness. With a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and Sports Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Florida International University, Dr. Arienne has worked with orthopedic conditions, athletes of all ages and levels, including Olympic sports, collegiate level sports, and professional sports. In recent years, she has turned her focus to pelvic health in relation to the active prenatal and postpartum person, female athlete, and more.

Prenatal Physical Therapy: Our prenatal physical therapy services are designed to help expectant mothers prepare for childbirth, reduce pain and discomfort, and enhance overall health and wellness.
Postpartum Physical Therapy: Our postpartum physical therapy services are designed to help new mothers recover from childbirth, address any complications or issues, and regain strength and confidence.
Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy: Our pelvic floor physical therapy services are designed to help individuals address pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, and pain.
Sports Physical Therapy: Our sports physical therapy services are designed to help athletes of all levels recover from injury, enhance performance, and prevent future injuries.
Concierge Physical Therapy: Our concierge physical therapy services offer convenient, personalized treatment sessions in the comfort of your own home.

What We Treat

At Dr. Arienne, we treat a wide range of conditions and issues, including:

Orthopedic conditions such as pre- and post-surgical rehab, rotator cuff and labral tears of the shoulder, hip pain and injury, back pain, disc herniations, spinal stenosis, knee pain, ankle pain, and foot injuries.
Pelvic health issues such as prenatal pelvic floor and birth preparation, postpartum support, pelvic pain, diastasis recti, urinary leakage, fecal leakage/smearing, pelvic organ prolapse, pain with sex, tampon or menstrual cup insertion or with pelvic exams, endometriosis, and tailbone pain (coccydynia).
Core and pelvic floor weakness, and return to running and safe transition to exercise.
