At Culp Lumber Company, we have been producing high-quality Southern Yellow Pine Lumber for over 95 years. Our history dates back to the early 1920s when Henry W. Culp, Sr. founded the company with a portable sawmill located in New London, North Carolina. Today, we are a 3rd generation, family-owned business, employing over 100 people. Our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction has earned us certifications from Timber Products Inspection, ensuring that our products meet the highest grade standards.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of products and services, including lumber, by-products, and procurement services. Our sawmill produces 125 million board feet of pine lumber annually, which is shipped mainly to northern markets. We also produce a variety of by-products such as wood chips, sawdust, and bark, which are sold in bulk quantities. Our procurement department is responsible for sourcing and delivering Southern Pine saw timber to meet our annual production needs.

Lumber Products

Our lumber products include various sizes such as 2" X 4", 2" X 6", 2" X 8", 2" X 10", and 2" X 12", as well as timbers and boards. We also offer precision end-trim lumber for specific applications. All our lumber products are certified by Timber Products Inspection and are available in different grades such as DSS, #2, #3, and #4.

By-Products
