Your Trusted Martial Arts School in Austin, TX
Austin Kenpo Karate was established in 1980 and has provided professional martial arts training for over 35 years. Our success stems from the quality of instruction rooted in traditional and modern methods, blending the fluid motions of Chinese Kung Fu with the precision of Japanese Karate. We emphasize self-defense techniques, form exercises, and free-fighting combinations, adhering to rigorous belt progression standards set by the Chinese Kenpo Karate Association (CKKA).

Under Sifu Jeff Schroder's leadership, we have adapted to the evolving needs of Austin while maintaining a commitment to discipline, respect, and mastery of the art. Our programs cater to adults, children, and families, offering structured training, summer camps, and after-school care designed to build confidence, physical fitness, and life skills. With a focus on community and individual growth, we continue to uphold the principles of Kenpo as a transformative martial art.
