Our Business

Timm CPA is a family business, founded by Doug and Susan Timm, who have been working together professionally since before they were married. Both have brought their complementary skills and personalities to the business, making us a cohesive and effective team. Our daughters also worked in the business during high school and college, gaining valuable experience and contributing to our growth.

Our Professionals

Doug A. Timm, CPA, is a graduate of the University of Florida and has been practicing accounting in Sarasota since 1985. He provides tax, accounting, and consulting services, with a strong focus on tax planning and preparation for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates. Doug is a member of the Tax Section of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Susan Y. Timm, CPA, is a graduate of West Virginia University College of Business and Economics. With a background in cost accounting and managing an accounting department, Susan specializes in small business accounting and tax preparation. She is also a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor for both QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online, with extensive training and experience in implementing QuickBooks solutions.
