About Neal Kuhlhorst

Neal Kuhlhorst is a licensed marriage and family therapist and Christian counselor with over 35 years of clinical experience. He is a Clinical Fellow in the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and has been serving the communities of Johns Creek, Duluth, Suwanee, Alpharetta, Roswell, Buford, Cumming, and the surrounding North Metro Atlanta area for over 30 years.

Neal is a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist and has completed Level 1 and 2 from the Gottman Institute. He is the author of "Becoming One Flesh; Relationships for Life, " a Christian-based premarital/marital enrichment workbook. Neal was also a contributor to the Imago Relationships Premarital Workshop entitled "Start Right-Stay Connected."

In addition to his clinical work, Neal has presented at National conferences, workshops, and seminars, speaking on topics such as relationship growth, spirituality, cancer support, and more. He has served as a clinical chaplain, training hospice chaplains, and was a founding member of CanCare Atlanta, a cancer support network. Neal also served as President/CEO of CanCare Atlanta and as the interim CEO for CanCare, the national cancer support network based in Houston, TX. He has been an ordained Presbyterian Minister since 1982.
