Find Your Inner Peace, One Breath at a Time

A Journey of Yoga and Wellness

At Tosa Yoga Center, we are dedicated to providing a welcoming space where individuals can embark on a journey of self-discovery, growth, and wellness. Founded in 2006, our studio in Wauwatosa is a haven where students of all levels can come together to practice yoga, meditation, and other holistic practices.

Our Services

We offer a diverse range of classes and workshops catering to different needs and preferences. Our classes are carefully designed to cater to beginners, intermediate, and advanced practitioners alike. Whether you're new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, we've got something for you.

  • Appropriate for Beginners: Tosa Yoga Flow

Our signature flow class for beginners and experienced beginners, formerly known as Flow Yoga (level 1/2), introduces students to various postures and breath-work within a "flow" yoga style using Sun Salutations. Options are always given, making it an ideal class for first-time yoga students or anyone seeking a feel-good flow class.

  • Mellow Flow + Restorative

This slow-flow class is a beautiful combination of intentional movement, followed by stillness for deeper relaxation. It incorporates a couple of restorative postures that use props to facilitate relaxation.

  • Gentle Yoga

Gentle Yoga offers stretching and relaxation with minimal intensity. Recommended for individuals who can sit on the floor and get up and down from the floor unassisted, this class uses props like blankets and yoga blocks.

  • Strong Flow

Recommended for experienced beginners and intermediate students, this class is taught in a flow style using Sun Salutations. It offers a wide range of postures and variations, with options to spice things up for more challenging postures.

  • Lunch-Hour Express Flow

This 45-minute version of our Strong Flow class is perfect for those seeking a quicker, more dynamic practice.

  • Sunday Slow Down Yoga

This Sunday evening class combines slow flow yoga, longer held passive seated stretches, and restorative postures using props for support and comfort. Breathing practices, meditation, and yoga philosophy might also be incorporated to help students unwind and prepare for the week ahead.

  • Prenatal Yoga

Designed specifically for moms-to-be, this class is open to all levels of yoga experience and any stage of pregnancy. Posture sequences target appropriate strengthening, muscle engagement, and circulation, as well as stretches and movements aimed at supporting labor and delivery.

  • Parent & Baby Yoga

This class combines parent-centered postures and baby-focused bonding for parents and pre-walking infants. It's a great way to support postpartum recovery and bonding with baby while connecting with a supportive community.
