Located in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, Peace Yoga Studio & Wellness Center is a welcoming space for individuals of all ages and abilities to come and explore the world of yoga. Our mission is to create a peaceful and nurturing environment where individuals can come to cultivate their inner peace and strengthen their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Yoga Classes for All Levels
At Peace Yoga Studio & Wellness Center, we offer a variety of yoga classes to suit the needs of all students. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced yogi, we have a class that will meet your needs and help you achieve your goals. Our classes include:
- Basic Yoga: Designed for beginners, this class teaches postures, breathing techniques, and how to feel comfortable in a class setting. This class progresses slowly and focuses on proper positioning of basic yoga postures.
- Restorative Yoga: Suitable for all levels, this type of yoga utilizes poses that are seated or lying down, often with the use of props. Poses are held for up to five minutes to deepen the stretch and promote relaxation. This class will leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
- Yoga Blend: A combination of Hatha yoga and Vinyasa Flow, this class features a creative pattern that links sequences of postures, movement, and breath. This format is appropriate for a wide range of abilities, from beginners to advanced practitioners.
- Gentle Yoga: Designed for those with limitations due to age, weight, or physical impairments, this class begins in a chair and moves to standing or sitting on the floor as one is able. This 45-minute class is a great way to build strength and flexibility in a gentle and supportive environment.
- Kids Yoga: Fun and active, this class is designed for children ages 4-11. Children learn yoga postures and interactive games, fostering friendship-building and self-expression. Loaner mats are available for use.
- Yin Yoga: Drawn from the Taoist tradition, this class focuses on connective tissue and fascia. Poses are performed lying down or seated, with some postures held for up to four minutes. Participants are encouraged to dress in layers as the body may become cool during the class.
Additional Services
In addition to our yoga classes, Peace Yoga Studio & Wellness Center offers a variety of additional services to support your overall health and well-being. These include:
- Somatic Breathing Workshops: Join Morgan Hallenbeck, a Somatic Breathwork facilitator, for an amazing experience of somatic breathing. In this workshop, you will learn breath techniques to reduce stress and anxiety, conquer limiting beliefs, release stories that no longer serve you, process trauma, gain emotional clarity, reconnect with yourself, deepen your spirituality, and so much more. This session is typically done lying down on your mat.
- EFT/Tapping for Weight Loss Workshops: Join us for an evening session that will teach you EFT/Tapping for weight loss and food cravings. Guided by a certified EFT/Tapping Practitioner, you will learn how to stimulate specific acupoints to reduce food cravings. Research shows that you can lower those cravings by 74% using EFT. In this class, you will release any doubts and resistance you have to losing weight while learning an effective tool to reduce food cravings and desires.
- Restorative Yoga and Acupuncture Sessions: Combine the wonderful healing properties of acupuncture with a restorative yoga practice. Meet with a practitioner and learn how acupuncture could improve your health while enjoying the relaxing and rejuvenating benefits of restorative yoga.
