Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a fun, family-friendly environment that welcomes both children and adults, where they can come to learn, grow, and improve their physical fitness, focus, self-confidence, problem-solving skills, discipline, balance, and work ethic. We strive to create a sense of camaraderie among our members, and provide quality instruction that caters to individuals of all ages and skill levels.
Our Services
At True JiuJitsu, we offer a range of classes and programs specifically designed to meet the needs of our students. Our children's program is designed for kids aged 4 and above, where they can learn valuable skills that can be utilized both on and off the mats. Our adult program welcomes both men and women of all ages and fitness levels, where they can learn the valuable sport of Jiu-Jitsu and adapt techniques for self-defense applications. We also offer NO GI classes, which adapt GI techniques and combine them with a mix of Freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling. Additionally, we offer Open Mats, which provide extra sparring time, drilling techniques, and socialization.
Meet Our Staff
Our team is led by Black Belt instructor and owner, Shane Zeringue, who brings a unique approach to the instruction of Jiu-Jitsu and has an infectious love for the art. Shane is dedicated to helping his students perfect their techniques and has a passion for teaching the evolving sport of Jiu-Jitsu. Our staff also includes Kris, who is the friendly face behind emails and texts, and is also a BJJ practitioner and competitor.
