We are a martial arts school located in Oklahoma City, dedicated to helping students realize their full potential through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Mixed Martial Arts, and Judo. Our Mission

At Lovato's School of BJJ & MMA, we break down barriers to help students overcome challenges and build a healthy competitive spirit. We believe that the journey is beautiful, and consistency is the key. Our team is dedicated to passing on the never-ending passion for martial arts, igniting this passion by giving our hearts to our students and leading them through adversity on and off the mat.

Our History

Lovato's School of BJJ & MMA is a family business started in 1993 by Rafael Lovato and his father, both BJJ black belts. In 2009, Rafael Lovato took over the academy as his own, carrying on his family legacy and lifelong dream. Throughout his martial arts journey, Rafael has won major titles in Jiu-Jitsu (Gi and No Gi), Grappling, and Mixed Martial Arts.

Our Programs

We offer a range of programs for students of all ages and skill levels, including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, No-Gi Grappling, Muay Thai, Mixed Martial Arts, and Judo. Our 10,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility is a great place for anyone to train martial arts in Oklahoma City. We have a diverse 7-day schedule to fit the needs of the community.
