Your bike, our expertise, and a passion for the ride
Upcycles PDX has been a trusted source for friendly, expert bike services in NE Portland since 2010. We take pride in offering down-to-earth advice, quality work, and a welcoming environment for all bike enthusiasts, whether you're a seasoned cyclist or just getting started. Our services include tune-ups, flat fixes, bicycle assembly, and Rad Power ebike demos and test rides.
Our humble beginnings can be traced back to a residential garage where two friends started fixing and flipping used bikes. Over the years, we have grown into a trusted bike shop, providing excellent repair and assembly work day in and day out. Our current owner, Matthew Mendez, is a career bicycle mechanic who has been "in the pit" since 2014. With a strong commitment to our community, we strive to help our customers bike more and enjoy every mile.

Flat Tire Fixes
Flat tire? Bring it in, and we'll figure out what went wrong! For a common bicycle wheel, flat fixes are usually $20 labor, with an additional charge for a new tube. Motor wheel flat fixes are $45 labor. Some bikes require a more extensive flat fix, and in those cases, an additional charge may apply based on the bike's make and accessories.

Please call ahead at 503-388-0305 or drop us an email so that we can put you on our schedule. We assemble most bicycles, including most e-bikes, with a thorough and careful process.
