Our Story
Our story began in 1854 when Lyman J. Burrell settled the wilderness that would eventually become home to our winery and Estate vines. In 1870, Burrell donated an acre of land for the community school, which would later become the current schoolhouse in 1890. We are proud to preserve and share this piece of history with our visitors.
Our Wines
Our estate vines yield a range of premium wines, including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and our exclusive Valedictorian, a unique Bordeaux-style blend of our estate grapes. Our winemaking techniques involve careful cultivation, organic spraying, and hand-pruning to ensure the best possible grapes for our wines. We invite you to taste and experience our distinctive, concentrated wines reflective of their mountain home.
Visit Us
Our winery is open for tastings on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. The Tasting Room, located in the original Teacher's Carriage House, is an intimate area dedicated to showcasing our premium wines. Enjoy spectacular views of our Estate vines and the surrounding mountains from our veranda.
