At BURG Translations, our story begins with Frida Burg, a courageous immigrant who fled to the United States to pursue a better life. Despite the challenges she faced, Frida built a successful business by leveraging her knowledge of law and language to help neighboring law firms translate technical legal documents. As her business grew, Frida enlisted the help of friends with similar backgrounds and experiences. In 1936, she passed the business down to one of her trusted translators, Jean Loup Petit, who continued to care for her clients with the same dedication and passion that Frida had.
