At Pacific Rim Martial Arts Academy, we are dedicated to providing a comprehensive martial arts education to students of all ages and skill levels. Our internationally renowned dojo in Tigard offers a wide range of programs and classes in various martial arts, including Kodokan Judo, Japanese Jujutsu, Tomiki Aikido, JuSoolKwan Hapkido, ChungDoKwan TaeKwonDo, and Ryushin Shouchi Ryu Iaido. Our structured curriculum and engaging classes accommodate all ages and skill levels, and our certified black belt instructors have over 100 years of combined teaching experience.

Our Programs
Our junior program is designed for children aged 6-12 and is composed of both Judo and Hapkido classes. Our junior classes focus on balancing instruction in martial arts skills with a strong foundation of physical literacy. Classes are kept to 45 minutes to ensure maximum engagement, blending fun with discipline and technique with fitness. Our adult program offers classes in four martial arts and appeals to ages from 13 to 63. Whether your goal is physical fitness or self-defense, our classes are designed to balance learning a martial art while improving flexibility, balance, and stamina.
Our Facilities
In 2018, we completed a major renovation and expansion of our dojo, increasing our total square footage by more than 4,000 square feet. Our facilities include 2,300 square feet of sprung, tatami practice flooring, and 500 square feet dedicated to strength and conditioning, as well as full multi-media and conference capabilities.
