Our story began in 1958 when Abdul Hafez Kaskas established Kaskas Oriental Rug Gallery in Beirut, Lebanon. In 1976, his son Zahi Kaskas brought the business to the United States, opening the first store in Austin, Texas. Today, Kaskas Oriental Rugs is still family-owned and operated, with two galleries in Austin, Texas. Our main goal is to build trust and educate our customers on the unique qualities of each rug.
