St Dominic Savio Catholic High School

At St. Dominic Savio Catholic High School, we are committed to providing a world-class education that empowers students to become faith-filled, visionary, and inspirational leaders in service to the Church and the world. Founded by the Diocese of Austin in 2009, our school is a co-educational college preparatory institution that serves students from grades 9 to 12.

Our Mission

Our mission is rooted in the Christian values that have guided us from the very beginning. We strive to create a community that is centered on the teachings of Jesus Christ and driven by a passionate commitment to academic excellence, spiritual growth, and service to others.

Our History

Our story began in 2002, when Bishop Gregory Aymond authorized a feasibility study to determine if a Catholic high school in northwest Austin would attract sufficient demand. After a committee was established, the land was purchased and a Capital Campaign was developed. On October 12, 2008, construction began on our stunning 83,690 square feet building, which features state-of-the-art classrooms, science and computer laboratories, a library/media center, an art studio, gym, administrative offices, workrooms, conference room, athletic fields, fine arts, and health suites.

Our Campus

Our beautiful campus is designed to inspire learning and community building. From the prayer garden, which was blessed and designated for prayer in 2012, to the athletic fields, our facilities are designed to promote physical and mental well-being. Our courtyard is a peaceful oasis where students can relax and recharge, surrounded by beautiful plants, benches, and a statue of Mary.

Our community is filled with students from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and faith traditions. Our Programs

Our programs are designed to provide students with a comprehensive education that prepares them for college, careers, and life. We offer a range of academic courses, including engineering and technology, English, fine arts, math, science, social science, technology, and world language. Our students also have access to state-of-the-art facilities, including a robotics lab, a music room, and a dance studio.

Our Athletics

We take pride in our athletic programs, which offer a range of sports, including basketball, soccer, swimming, and track and field. Our teams compete in the Texas Private School Athletic Association (TPSAA) and are known for their dedication, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
